Empowering our youth: Gigi teaches music to children from grades 2nd through 5th in the Unified Inglewood School District. The children are learning music theory, music history and they are learning to play an instrument - the 'Recorder'. Gigi also served as a Board Member with JLMS, Inc.

Gigi volunteered with the Culver City public school system, teaching with the "Reading By 9" program, as well as, volunteering with the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for "Patient and Family Services" and the "Music for Healing" program. In addition, Gigi volunteers with Good Will, modeling fashions for benefits and events that raise funding to employ job seekers.

Relocating from New York (born in Chicago), Gigi Iam resides in California.

Gigi recently graduated from the University of California, Berkeley and is currently working in the studio independently developing her debut EP Album.

Other projects include writing hot topic articles, writing and publishing her music books, and producing music videos and independent shorts and documentaries based on true stories.
